Hi Friends! Happy Friday!
I hope everyone had a great week! I’m glad it’s Friday, as always, and I’m looking forward to the weekend. All of the festivities that happened last weekend for my 30th birthday have me craving some relaxation! I have an Orange Theory class scheduled for tomorrow morning, followed by some time by the pool Saturday afternoon. I’m also planning on getting some cleaning, laundry and meal prepping done. Schoen plans to watch golf and basketball all weekend, so it’s shaping up to be a low key weekend!
As always, here is this weeks Friday Favorites. Have a great weekend!
I added Rose Hip Oil into my nightly routine about 2 weeks ago after reading rave reviews about it on numerous other blogs. The benefits of rose hip oil are insane. To name a few: it can help improve skin tone, reduce the appearance of stretch marks, scars and fine lines and can help firm the skin.
Crock Pot Chicken
I broke out the crock pot yesterday morning and threw together some Santa Fe Chicken. I love crock pot meals because they’re super easy to throw together and often don’t require cooking anything before hand. We serve this chicken along side some rice and it usually lasts us a few days during the week.
Chick fil A Cobb Salad
Oh Chick fil A, how I love you. While I usually get their chicken sandwiches or wraps, I decided to st ray from the norm and try one of their salads a few weeks ago and it was uhhhhhmazing. Chick fil A may be on the agenda for lunch today!
So, I just started using these a few weeks ago, and I don’t know why I haven’t purchased them sooner. They’re great to keep in my purse to use while I’m at work or out running errands!
I finally finished Defending Jacob earlier this week and I really enjoyed it. It’s kind of twisted, but it’s definitely a page turner that had me up late at night feverishly reading. If you’re looking for some other books to read this summer, check out this list of summer must reads.
