Hey Friends! Happiest of Friday’s to you! I hope you all had a great week! Schoen has been traveling quite a bit the last two weeks, so I am happy to have him home for a while! This weekend I am going to start serving at our church. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit nervous. As I’ve grown older, I’ve become more of an introvert. So this will definitely be pushing me outside of my comfort zone. But I am very excited to get involved! I hope you all have a fun and relaxing weekend ahead of you. As usual, here is this week’s Friday Favorites. Feel free to join in down in the comments section and share a few things you’ve been loving lately!
No explanation necessary on this one. Oklahoma sunsets are simply gorgeous.
Toast + Eggs
I’ve been going back to the basics and eating toast and eggs all week long. This meal reminds me so much of my grandparents on my mom’s side. They always had such a great selection of bread and jam’s for breakfast. I’ve been on a big strawberry kick lately and it’s been hitting the spot.
The Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer
I picked up a new bible study called The Armor of God last week. This study has gotten so many raving reviews. It’s a 7 week study and I plan on starting it over the weekend. I plan on following along with the Armor of God online study that Lifeway Women offers. Has anyone else done this study? What did you think?
It’s Superbowl weekend which means it’s also time for 30-Second Theology at Life.Church! This is one of my favorite messages that they do each year. Superbowl Sunday is the biggest day for football in America, and also the biggest day for TV advertising. 30-Second Theology takes snippets of our favorite commercials and uncovers the deeper meaning behind them. This is such a fun series! If you’re not near a physical Life.Church location, check it out online here.
Camille Red Wine Glasses by Crate & Barrel
My mom and dad got me a set of these gorgeous Camille Red Wine Glasses from Crate and Barrel a few years ago and I still LOVE them. I don’t use them very often because I’m pretty clumsy with fragile things. But they’re hands down my favorite wine glass!
